Do you make your own decisions, or let others make them for you?

Occasionally i feel like other people are making decisions for me. They tell me which school to go to, they tell me what i can and can't do. It gets on my nerves but sometimes you just have to stick up for yourself and get what you want. Do you feel the same?

Ultimately, all decisions are your own.

I'm supposing the understanding of the following definition of "decision":
Quote:A conclusion or resolution reached after consideration:

The definition of decision implies a individualistic characteristic (considering the root of the dictionary used [Oxford]). A decision is a personal decision that can only be applied to one person or group at a time.

You decide to get out of bed, to eat, drink, visit a school, etc. Some may be an innate decision, some influenced decisions, and some entirely up to the person to ponder. Someone telling another where to go to school is a decision on the part of the person exerting force, but it is the person the force is being exerted one who has the decision to comply, there is nothing stopping one from refusing to allow an external decision to influence the decision of a person.

I used to be manipulated by people and they would make decisions for me, as I got older I realized this, and quickly stopped it.

Now-a-days I have a strong character, I don't do something unless I honestly want to do it. My decisions are mine, I don't let anybody make them for me.
