My Cool Things: Incense Bottle.

My Rasta Incense Bottle

So, I was at the Texas Renaissance Festival and picked this up for about $15

Along with some Incense. For those who don't know, incense are basically a long stick of compacted sawdust that is scented with a flavor. You light them and they slowly burn for 30 minutes- 2 hours.

There are many types of burners, but mine is used by clipping the incense stick into a ring and suspending it upside-down in the bottle. The scent venelates through the neck of the bottle and a small slit in the bottom (the bottom also catches the ashes.)

I think I had incense when I was little, my dad used to burn it in our garage 'cause it smelled moldy. Lil' me wasn't allowed near it though for fear that I would transform into a pothead. :3 But daamn, I'm jealous of that shrine.

Nice shrine man, more elaborate than I would've thought.

I remember having just normal incense sticks that basically smelt like perfumery candles and such. My mom would light them because she liked the smell, but it honestly was hard to fucking breathe in that shit. Only for stoner lungs :p
