Hello Perkies,
Recently I have started a collection, that of knives/swords. I wanted to know the legality of carrying such a weapon (knives). I live in Ohio, and want to carry a Kershaw Millitary Boot Knife. It was a gift from my Grandpa, and is very sharp, easy to wear, and perfectly weighted for my liking. I wanted to know the legality of carrying this, concealed. Anyone know?

Three inches max in public, must be able to be holstered or retracted.
No spring or gravity assisted blades.
Stay safe brah.

It depends on the area of Ohio that you live in.
I assume you can OPEN carry it.

If it's shorter than 2.5 inches then it should not be classed as a deadly weapon under federal law. If it's shorter you can just call it a "tool" I believe.

I have a hard plastic holster with a strap for side or leg holster carry. Thanks for that!
Another question, if I were to have more than one, would that be legal? I know how to throw knives, and thought maybe carrying my three pack of throwing knives ( link here http://www.knife-depot.com/knife-344139.html
Is that legal? They have a holster and everything.
Here is the link for the original Kershaw I was referring to: http://www.knifecenter.com/item/KS4351/K...POM-Scales

Projectile and thrown weapons are illegal in public, this goes for ninja stars as well.
You can have them in public, but they must be in your possession and properly stowed.

I live in quite a dangerous area, and recently was almost mugged (thank God for a truck driver scaring the guy off I had an iPhone and $300 in my pocket)..
I just want to know, out of what I have, what I am able to carry.. I am going to be buying more, but for now I want to know what I'm able to carry out of my collection.

I saw a Stun Gun at my local flea market. I may have to pick one of those up!
I'm only 17, turning 18 in December. Also, the pocketknife +,- 3 inches refers to the blade only, correct?

From the tip of the blade, until the end comes in contact with the handle sheath. Stun guns aren't effective IMO at close combat, as it requires direct and constant pressure.
Your body is divided in four quadrants. That is why officers shoot tasers sideways, they try to hit opposite body quadrants (diagonally) to make a complete muscle electric circuit.
Handheld pressure tasers are only pain tolerance, not electrocution.
