My wife and I are expecting our third child in June, a boy. My first son with her, so it really gets me thinking. I want to be the best father to my son, and I know they are different in terms of raising.

Generally who influences the boy’s character most: parents, friends or teachers?

It depends on whether or not the child thinks that you are a cool dad. If you make your son think you're the coolest shit ever, or if he happens to just think so, he'll be influenced by you heavily.

It's what your son perceives to be cool. However, you have to teach your son to not be influenced so much by his peers/friends. Teach him to be himself, and not what people think is cool. Teach him to make his own decisions, not have other people make them for him.

Being easily influenced or pressured by friends often results in weak mindedness, thus leading shit like being easily pressured into drugs, alcohol, and other bad shit. The only person your son should be influenced by is you.
