Fellow fellow fellow perkies, is censorship needed in the entertainment industry? Yes? No? Why?

Fuck no, porn is entertaining and shouldn't be censored.

And funny movies would not be funny if they were censored.

Life runs on uncensored.

In my opinion, it depends on what would be censored. But if it's meant to be viewed by children, there should be no need to censor anything anyway. A lot of comedies definitely wouldn't be the same with censoring. They're probably all suck.
Censorship? Nahh.
Warning of explicit content? Yes. (Ya know, just in case they aren't prepared for what they're about to see)

A warning of explicit content should be all there is. There is no need for ridiculous *bleeps* and other silly sounds to block out "curse words".

A curse word isn't a curse word anyways, it's a word that people often use wrong, and that's what makes it a "bad word". If people used the word "potato" as an insult all the time, ever since the dawn of the English language, how much would you want to bet that potato would be called a "bad word"?

Opinion or no opinion. Racism should be censored. Not acceptable.

Racism is one of the few things in this world that's worth censoring.

I'd have to say yes and no, because there is something which is being shown, that is not good for example little children to see yet. But I also think that sometimes it can feel, and be really good to hear the thruth, and to understand how things really works, instead of only hearing the good things/lies.

Yes I agree. Racism should be censored if it has to be in the media at all. I wish it didn't have to be, but it's out of my control.

I am engaging this for the purpose of enticing debate, but why should racism be censored?
What makes racism so important that it constitutes even a little consideration?
