If I had to pick a religion to practice I would probably pick Hinduism as it seems to be the most reasonable in terms of how you can choose to practice it.

I would have to disagree with that, If one is religious the reason they are thanking God is because he gave them the strength or the courage, it's not so much as a credit shift but just
an overall thank you for not only life in itself but the courage that was given in that specific time. It is a hard concept to understand, for some it seems as if God is taking credit, but it is not God taking the credit, it is the person thanking God.

You can practice a religion any way you want. You do not have to abide by every single rule and mainstream belief within the religion. For instance, I believe in Christianity, but I don't believe in shit magically showing up like a lot of Christians do. I believe God created Science, and then Science (god's creation) created the Earth. I have doubts that Gays are sent to hell for being born the way they are, or other silly things people are supposedly sent to hell for (according to the bible). If God is a truly loving being who created us all the way he intended, then he wouldn't have created gays. The people who wrote the bible were homophobic just like a lot of people back in those days, therefore that's what they wrote (probably)

Yea the main reason I'm not set on the bible or any religious book is because it could have easily been changed.

That's sincerely inspirational that after two years, you were able to go back, Is it to much to ask why you turned away from your church and what after two years had you coming back? If you don't want to talk about it on the forum feel free to PM me, or if you don't want to talk about it all, I completely understand!

Plus you shouldn't be representing any posts about religion on behalf of your forums or you're likely going to get spammed with hate messages.

IMO God is just a supernatural-like defined word in religions, where they have to pray and offer them sweets, money, food, etc to get their blessings so you'd always have good luck. It's an important part of a religion, FYI. Human's oldest and undiscovered answer is..

"Who is God?" Who can also be a what, but to some people it'd be disrespectful so yeah!

Good luck!

I'm muslim, and you should not say only pro-muslims act like that there is extremist in all religions and all of them act like that
