Stupidity is not necessarily the absence of education, more the inability to retain information.

someone is stupid when knowing that an act has a bad consequence for him/her yet he does this act anyway...

Stupidity is awesome, without stupidity the life is boring.
So sometimes we must be stupid and in the mean time be wise and intelligent

Too be honest everyone is stupid in some respects, thats my view.
I may be smart in Music and Computer Science but im stupid as anything in Chemistry or Psychology, no one is brilliant at everything and therefore Id deem people stupid in that field. Odd opinion of mine, but thats it

In my opinion, there isn't such a thing as "stupidity." It's a word that is thrown around.
If someone has a mental disorder or a learning disability, we don't write "Stupid" under diagnosis. We write the actual problem.
Plus, the word "stupid" is offensive.

- I agree but and the word is abused way to much.

- Their is a difference from people not being average/intelligent and a Mental Illness.
"Plus, the word "stupid" is offensive."
- I think "Stupid" was made because it's a lot easier to say than retarded, idiot, dumbass, etc. I would called them "Dumb" instead since it's not that offensive and it's not in the foul language category.

~That is true. I agree with that. But there has also been cases when someone with a mental illness (take Asperger's for example) has been called stupid, or slow. No, they just have a disability.

~I agree with this as well. But, it's also offensive to insult anyone in any form mentioned. Instead of shortening something you (not YOU specifically) don't understand, use the proper name it was given. It's less insulting and humiliating.
