How to choose the Best Paid Minecraft Server Host

When going to chose a server host for your server you're going to have to keep a few things in mind. How many players will be on there and how much do you plan to spend are going to be the main factors.

There are several specifications on your server that will play a big part on how fast and stable the host is. When looking figure out what specs with your budget and player count you will need.

Pay close attention to:
The upload and download speeds being offered
RAM allotted
Disc space allotted
The upload and download speeds being offered
The CPU used
The Bandwidth

I recommend looking at http://www.bestminecrafthosts.com/ and comparing the servers to each other. You will be able to see complete reviews on the host.

Here is an example of the top rated host on the site.

You will be able to see features from the host too:

This cost also has recommendations on what you should buy on the site:

On the site if you go to compare you can actually see the stats and price of hosts side by side.

Then finally they have customer reviews. This should be a big help in deciding on which host is best for you.

How to choose Best Free Minecraft Server Host

When using a free host you are going to want the best one to meet requirements of your server. If you are looking for a sever for just you and your friends to play on then having a low player count will not matter as much.

When searching for a host you are going to want to look for a few details. I would say at least 500mb of ram for just you and your friends. Also you are going to want to look into your monthly bandwidth. I recommend having a server with instant setup if you don't really know what you're doing. One last thing to look for would be if the host has a control panel.

You're welcome mate. It probably is not that best, but it should help newer people to the scene.

Why would anyone pay for a server if they can get free ones as you stated that have pretty good "stats" or what ever you want to call it.
That free hosting site seems a bit "phishy". They cant spell control or players. O well. You put a good amount of time into this. Good job

I have not actually used the free one I recommend. I have used instant mc though. Once you get more players you will want a paid host fore more up time and so it can handle more players.

I can possibly add something like that into the guide. It is not quite finished yet.
