Hello everyone, the text books you will see in school today are false, the history you will learn in school is false. The only truth that will be known is the statistics of deaths, births, immigration etc. All the leading up moments, are false.

It states in the History text books that the Germany was ransacked and building were lit on fire, when in actuality Hitler himself had them burned to scare the public onto his side.

The point of this thread isn't to pick apart the text books, and isn't to point out that the government is trying to change history to his likings threw school. It is the question of whether you think Hitler was simply a monster, or was he a Genius?

Hitler in my eyes was not a monster, he did what he had to do, with the time given, the supplies he had he took advantage of the harsh times, made them either harsher and with this started his reign. Hitler did more than any other man in history in my opinion. Hitler maybe had little to no morals, but he was a Genius and did what many wish they could do, have absolute control and power.

I think that he was a genius, in his own rite. Though, he was completely wrong for his doings.

The amount of control he had was absolutely marvelous, though.. I can't even argue that he was brilliant :P

Damn right, I man willing and able to over see the moral wrong doings and see the sheer brilliance behind him, the method to his madness, once a failed artist next the most feared, respected, most in control man to walk the earth.

In my opinion, I believe Hitler to be a genius. I mean, how many deaths he caused is terrible, but that man was smart. He had a goal in sight, and he chased after it. He wanted to reign, and he was showing that he had the power to do so. He took authority when the opportunity was given to him. He may not have gone towards gaining that goal the right way, he hurt a lot of people in the process, but he was, in fact, a genius. I do not support what he had done, but he was definitely genius.
(I'm obsessed with this kinda stuff).

Hitler seems to be kind of a popular man here on the forum. I think he was a genius in his own right, there were certainly some things I would disagree with though.

Yeah, he seems to be. It's kind of interesting to hear what other people have to say about him though. (:

Well a great obsession in my opinion, but yes he had a goal set, and was stopping at nothing to get it.

Why of course he is, this man shaped history, some of the things he did were just morally incorrect but he did what he had to do, and goddamn I have to say this man did a lot, and maybe his bad morals strived from his sick mother, or being denied to art school, what ever the reason. This man lives on, and will live on forever

Whatever it is labeled, it was extreme. His determination and drive to finally get that goal/obsession was astounding.

You couldn't be more right, I would love to be able to understand his mindset or be put in his mind if even only a minute.

I have said almost exactly this in regards to all serial killers that we have caught the world over.
