As the subject says, Is it unethical to conduct research on embryos? Why or why not?

My opinion:
I think that it is not, because they have a chance at not surviving in the first place, especially if it were an IVF baby. At the same time we are protecting embryos, we are letting people get killed in war and in the military. How does that make any sense?
In my opinion, I feel that it isn't necessarily unethical, but we also shouldn't take advantage of the fact that we have the capability to conduct these studies. These studies might even help discover why certain diseases come to be. Ya know?

Yeah, totally. I don't remember where I saw this, but a cartoon artist said that he would rather stop living to help aid in research in order to potentially help others.

In most cases in my opinion, if you feel the need to ask if something is unethical it usually is.

Well that's the controversy, some people think it is, while others don't.
