What games really bored you at first but eventually caught your attention?

For me, I've bought a lot of games over the years that I really started to regret within the first hour of playing them but after making the decision to stick with them, some have actually become great games that I still love to this day. For me, it's generally big open-world games that get more bored at first, probably because it's a massive map which sometimes leads to a bit of a slow start. Once I start getting into them though, they give me hours of joy as I start roaming. Skyrim in particular is a game that I have grown to love.
