Worst weather you lived through?

What is the worst weather event you have lived through? Hurricane, tornado, or maybe just a bad thunderstorm? When I was younger we lived in a place where the weather was volatile and there was a bad electrical storm which is electricity in the atmosphere during a thunderstorm. My mom was terrified but I was probably 2 and fascinated by it. Now I really hate thunderstorms.

If lived means I was there for a couple weeks on holiday, then the weather I had during parts of my holiday in Tokyo was insane. I seemed to have landed (unbeknownst to me) during the hurricane season that seems to make it's way around Asia somewhat. I had a few days of weather that was absolutely nuts, I remember one night we were trying to talk to a local restaurant to get some food and Lord it was like fighting a loosing battle against the wind and torrential rain. Was a fun experience though lol.

worst weather was last year summer. i live in the 9th floor looking to the south. And we had 40°C for 2 months and no rain. That was funny :voteno:
