What are your opinions on this George Floyd matter?

My opinion about the violent protests is that it is because of the lockdown and it is just being let out now.

The actual matter is that how does someone kneel on a throat for 6-9 minutes? Well we all know why.

What happened to George Floyd is definitely wrong and something that NO ONE should have to go through.  With that being said, protesting in regards to his death for justice I can definitely get behind, burning buildings however, you will never catch me associating myself with those types of people.

Then you have the opportunists, the people that take advantage of the current situation and go around looting these stores for their own personal benefit and gain.  I'm sure once this all slows down, they will get what's coming to them, one at a time.

See it like @Mom the people aren't just focused on getting the officers behind bars, they just do bullshit and will hopefully charged with the shit they do. 
I also hope that the officers involved with his death will get what they deserve too.

In France we are used to it whenever there is a riot. Most people will only stay calm and act to spread the message they are fighting for. But some people, usually not even sharing the same fight will join them and start damaging stores, cars, burning stuff, ... And whenever the police tries to get them, they have to attack everyone around it, including "peaceful" rioters.

On the Floyd subject .. It's just the same shit that is happening every now and then. The one thing that goes a little too far, outraging people who feels already abused by others. It will keep happening until the problem is solved. Now I didn't looked too much details into this exact story, and how the media used it, but it seems like the cop was already an experienced killer.

I agree with all of you. I myself might do a little bit of the rioting but burning police cars to the undriveable point is unneeded. That goes with buildings too
