Simple Factions goal is to bring back old school, very basic factions. No need for huge bases with 100s of walls, no need for massive cannons!
Come play! We have a few players that are active in the forums. 

Server Information

You start with nothing, your goal is to make a big farm and then eventually Spawner farms
Claiming costs money, so make sure you're certain you want that piece of land
Spawners - Can be crafted, and picked up with a SilkTouch Pickaxe
PvP has been changed to the old way, the better way
Water/Lava walls can protect your base but will only make TnT do slightly less damage.
Obsidian has health, right click with a piece of redstone to check it's health.

Yes you can grief other players with no mercy, try to avoid the spawn though ;)

Obviously it is, why wouldn't it be protected

Because you said to avoid the spawn, but if it's protected, obviously it will be avoided
