The bottom line is that climate change is real. However, in my country, the USA - a huge conservative political movement is trying to discredit it. Anyway, I am not extreme liberal, however, I cannot deny climate change. I mean, melting polar ice caps, increasing forest fires etc. are obvious for anyone to see. Anyhow, there is a huge bunch of science conjured up to discredit climate change as "tree hugger" stuff - but, honestly, who are we kidding here?

And are you doing anything right now to help the environment?
I think people should try to help the environment as much as they can - and I'm trying to improve my awareness. However, though, I do admit governments can use stuff like this to increase control. That's the problem. People aren't aware of things - so the government tries to pick up the slack, but they use it for tyranny.
Anyway, a popular meme among the right in the US shows environmentalists getting on planes going to conferences - which use up as much fuel - or more it seems, than what ordinary people use. :D
