Minecraft has been a lot of hype on all of the livestreaming sites and YouTube, and rightly so. It's a game meant to be shared with friends and viewers; it's no fun playing by yourself.
It seems like it's been on the up for awhile, but how much longer will people deal with the monthly updates that require new mod updates, loss of worlds, etc? How much longer till Mojang doesn't have any new ideas to add to MC other than new plants and foods and turns it into some sort of hyper-realistic game?
What are your thoughts?

I think the more they add, the worse it could get, some mods should be implemantted Into the game.
I guess that it's in their plans for future updates to have a built-in mod loader instead of like Forge or ModLoader themselves, so as long as they keep stuff consistent for plugin developers, I could see some community happiness in the future.

But they are adding things mostly for people who use creative. That's what I'm seeing.

Carpet was recent, the wood flipping, the multiple colored wood. The coal blocks. Basically stuff that wouldn't be used in survival,
