If god was real.

If god was real... do you think that he would allow what is happening to the world to happen.

Christians every day come up with excuses and atheists come up with excuses to battle each other. Is that was Christianity and, Atheism has come to? Just them battling over who is Politically correct?

That is not mere close to the point though.

If we take a look at the bible it says that if a child's parents make bad decisions after the parents die, god will hail his wrath on to the child of the tainted fetus of the sinner.

I used to believe in god till I heard that.

My mom died on June 18th, 2013. But even before then all I have gotten in life emotionally was hell. I was beaten from ages 4-8, and I hate every day of my life because I have to go to grade school and, I would love to do online education but, you know what my guardian says its not going to happen.

So what if that's true? Then everyone will get hell in there life.

But that still isn't anywhere close to the case.

You know those kids in Africa that everyone is complaining about like "OH YOU WASTED YOUR FOOD SOMEONE IN AFRICA COULD HAVE HAD THAT!" Well don't you think that if we could just make the world better and snap our fingers we would?

However that is still not the point. Christians will say this because I have asked my towns favorite preacher this, and I have asked 5 of my Christian's friend's parents. They all said that those children will go to hell if they don't learn about god. So after there death they will go to hell and burn in pain and misery.

So let me get this straight. If god really loved these children and really existed, don't you think that he would help these poor children who didn't deserve this get help and love and, give them a chance to learn about him so they could go to heaven when they died and get something good from there life?

All I have to say is, that if god really existed. He is a fucked up son of a bitch.

The Bible is not a good thing to go off of when you believe in something. Do you believe that a God that loves every single child of his, and died for our sins, would be so harsh to people who honestly don't deserve it?

The people who wrote The Bible made it for two things. Giving people good morals to go by, and to control people with fear to make them agree with their own beliefs. Don't go by The Bible for religious beliefs, just go with what you believe.

And, thoughs 72 virgins will end up to be a bunch of ugly nerdy guys playing World of Warcraft *even though I love WoW with a passion!*

Well think about it, it would be better to goto Heaven. Heaven doesn't have any worries or pain, it's pretty much just being in a great mood and doing whatever you want, and enjoying yourself for all eternity.

It is something we will probably never figure out in our life time. If religion helps you cope then that is good for you. I just can't get myself to believe in that stuff and I grew up as a catholic.

If we did indeed have benevolent and caring god that dosen't mean he will prevent evil in the world.
So everytime something bad happens, that isn't suggestive to his existence.

Also, if my parents were evil sinners, I wouldn't go to hell for them. I don't know what kind of christian told you that.
"God", judges by the individual and gives everybody a chance to follow him.

I am a Christian, and to put it bluntly - No one knows why god allows evil things to happen many people believe its parts of god's plan but we do not know this
1 Corinthians 13:12 Says : "“Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.”" That is what I stand by when people say why does god allow evil, I do not know but I sure will know and understand why he did it when I get to heaven.

Plus, just read your post again - I dont know what Christians you are talking to it sounds like the WBC but god will not send people to hell for not knowing god, its more that if you do not declare him as your lord and saviour then you will be judged for it and then are more likely to go to hell.

And to finish off, even if god allows bad things to happen, God is at work turning it to good
