Freemium games?

A freemium game is one which is free to download but offer micro-transactions. They can be only cosmetic but they also can give you advantage and an easier way to progress. So, what do you think of the freemium games?

I'm personally OK with the micro-transactions as long as they are cosmetic only. The developers need to make money at least somehow and with only cosmetic items it seems alright. It's fair for everyone.
