Have you had your pet attack you? I had a wild bushbaby and was bitten several times.

No, not really, like never. All my pets are and were taken care off and grew with lots of love and affection. They had no reason to attack me. But, I have a cat and she tends to climb and sometimes claws my leg, but nothing more.

Our first dog which we named Jedi is a ferocious female. She likes my wife and maybe she feels that my wife loves her more than me. In one incident, I was checking the rashes on her tummy when my wife came around. When Jedi saw my wife, she bit me without warning. Her teeth sank on my right arm. I pounded her head to make her release her bite. And when she did, she bit my left arm. It took awhile before I was able to get my left hand free. After I went to the hospital for the needed shots, it seemed to Jedi that nothing happened between us. She's still that nice dog.

PS. Jedi lived to be 10 years old before succumbing to renal failure.

@Alexandoy that's a sad part of having pet, loosing them one day. I find it very difficult to come to terms with pet loses and so avoid having any these days. It's always good to get them vaccinated on time to avoid any cross diseases especially during bites.

I once had a hamster which keeps on biting me. It's kinda sort of aggressive to me, so I can't handle it that well during those times I have it.
