He has bad Alzheimers, and isn't able to recall alot of it. I do remember stories he told of testing the original Atom Bomb on a ship. He said the explosion was so bright he could see his bones.
I found a website with an article about him tonight.

Oh snap, that's cool (fighting in Korea) but I totally disagree with nuclear weapons - but props to your grandad!

Shit, that's amazing. I'd love to see the explosion of an Atom Bomb in person.

You would go blind. The men aboard the ship were told to cover their eyes with their arms. Many claim to have seen their bone or saw through there arm. It was reported to be about 500x as bright as the sun

If it's so secret that he is a freemason why do you post about it publicly for everyone too see. If I were you I would respect that and keep quiet instead of telling people of it.

Your grandpa seems like a cool dude.

Your grandfather sounded like he had a good and interesting life. Glad he turned out alive after all of it (not sure if he is alive and WELL, but yeah) very nice thread

My father is an active free mason, the secrets are what actually happens. Being in the brotherhood itself isn't asecret, it's what they ACTUALLY do inside the Sudan Temple, and the Masonic Lodges. I learned about some of this from my father. But your right there are secrets, plenty of secrets. Your grandfather sounds like he was a bad ass in his day.

Well.. My grandfather was a big time drug dealer in the United States, he still has all of his connections which would do anything in a heartbeat for him if he needed it.
A few years back he got set up, and then had to go to jail and court and all that stuff. Anyway they let him out and he is just one of the drug court members now. Its crazy the stories he told me about it.
I don't know, its interesting to me.
