Silly as it may seem, I see this debate a lot as I scroll through the endless sites I love to visit. And that just makes me wonder here too... Do you have a preference? Why?
I actually really like laptops- it means I can write on the go right there on my usual writing program instead of trying to transcribe my messy handwriting later. Desktops do have better functionality for certain things, but... I still really love my laptop.

I've always been a desktop person, unless it's been for work purposes, I haven't touched a laptop in about 2-3 years personally. I just don't find them comfortable plus I've got three screens on the go, I love having all that real estate to do what i want to do on my computer. Obviously, I can't have three screens on the go on a laptop, especially if I want to keep it portable!

I've always been a desktop person, but for quick things, or when I'm on the go, a laptop is perfect. Although, if you have the right hardware, you can always run things on a laptop that can connect to all of your monitors (and makes it feel and act like a desktop with an external keyboard and mouse).
