In the recent times, I am taking interest in BTC.  IN order to use BTC we need BTC wallet. In your experience which is the best BTCwallet, that not only allows to send and receive BTC but also buy and sell or shop with BTC?

I can't say I've tried them all, but MultiBit is both a lighweight wallet software as well as a safe one. The Bitwallet needs wayyyy too much space. It takes up 65Gb...
If you visit https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet they have a small list of the bast wallets out there. If you hover your mouse over the icons there's a summary of their features.

Just yesterday I was going through literature regarding btc. The wallets choice depends largely on it's availability online and offline, safety and as an app. Probably your location also matters. I am still stuck between choosing Coinbase and blockchain wallet. I am in India and would prefer an app. Any suggestions with sound reasoning?

Blockchain, personally its the most secure and trusted site around.
You can't buy BTC on it but you can just use LocalBitcoin for that.

Also: This thread is in the wrong section, should be in crypto ;)

I use Coinbase for BTC transactions. It's pretty good, get's the job done and seems secure.

I use Coinbase but I think I might make a wallet on Blockchain later on, just to see how it is! I love trusted site like this to provide me a wallet for my BTC.
