Pasalamat Arena Dance Competition

Last Sunday was the culmination of our week-long Pasalamat Festival. There were two important activities that bring our festivity into its close. The first was the street dancing. There were 25 group street dancers participants. They did their best in the main streets of our small city. The heavy rain that poured out while the dancing was in progress didn't affect the enthusiasm of every group to show their dancing prowess.

The last major activity was the grand arena dance competition. Those 25 tribes were still the same participants in the said competition. My wife and I were so proud that our two granddaughters who joined in the kids category won the overall champion and garnered another 4 major awards as the best performing tribe, the best choreography, the best costumes, and the best grand arena performers.
