Would/Could you join the service in the U.S.A?

Would or could you join armed forces to defend this great country? (USA) Either yes or no and WHY?

I myself am not permitted to join any branch at all due to minor set backs the main reasons i was declined was the aggrovated armed robbery, kidnapping, serious bodily harm, mutilation, and dismemberment charges that i acquired in my youth. I will forever regret these decisions in my life and as a result i am no longer permitted to defend my brothers in arm and this great country. What is your stance on this?

We wouldn't need to defend our country if the U.S stopped getting into other nation's business. We lose hundreds of soldiers daily due to this and it isn't needed.

I could, but I wouldn't. I enjoy life and have things to live for.

For one, not hundreds die daily. Due to the war on terror is coming to an end, we might have once a week. Two, we still ALWAYS need a ready Army to stand by the people's side and protect them. Without a military, we'd be under Nazi, Communism or Mexican control.

Hate to say it but military does get.you back on your feet. You learn to fend for yourself while relying on the people around you. Learn discipline, honor, respect etc... It's hard at first.but gets easier.

Mind you i was MUCH younger at the time, i was going through a very traumatic time in my life, my father drilled into me that i must do this and that. The long of the short, essentially i felt that this young man did not deserve the that we was afforded. I took it upon myself to remove them for him.

Sometimes you just have to find a good hobby, or some friends to hang out with. There's substitutes for parents or siblings. Why do you think the kids in highschool who's parents aren't around have tons of friends? Because they need to find some sort of acceptance/love. If you need that kind've acceptance and love, then just get out there, find some friends to hang out with. Maybe even a girlfriend. If you aren't up for making friends, then just try and focus on a hobby, or try and learn something new that would benefit you. Learn a new language, learn a new coding language, discover a new video game you love to play, build a computer. Just focus towards making friends and finding shit to occupy yourself with.
