:dodgy: I don't know but if they want a Vegan pet, Why don't they just stick with Rabbits,Iguanas,Guinea pigs and goats. I recently saw a trend within the Vegan community who forces their Cats and dogs to have a vegan lifestyle. Cats and dogs are natural carnivores right?

I even saw someone crossing the line way more than that. There is a snake owner who feeds her snake nothing but broccoli. Snakes needs meat to survive.

Our pets are dogs and obviously they are carnivore in nature. So it is not good to make them vegans. But sometimes we give them boiled potatoes or boiled squash for some vegetables as per the advice of one dog breeder. But we give them not on a regular basis though. From our experience, our dogs need protein for their proper sustenance so it is meat that they need.

I agree with you but in some cases vegetarian owners of the pets cannot stand the feel or smell of non vegetarian items avoid feeding their pets even if they want to feed them their natural diet.

I think in such cases they can buy ready made food items for their pets or employ someone who cooks separately for the pets. It's not right to impose on dumb innocent animals what you wouldn't want to be done to you.

This is just disgusting. Why will a person force carnivorous mammals to be herbivorous/vegans if they're not insane in any sense? It's just very annoying that vegans do things not even worth of doing.

I really don't know, I mean, I guess that if they talk to their vet and he somehows manages to make a proper diet for them that replaces whatever nutrients they will not get without eating meat is ok, but on the other hand, why force something to an animal that has no other choice and doesn't understand why he has to eat grass-like food everyday?
