I say no as well. I'm sitting here, at my dads owned business, doing his work, for no pay. Being forced to.work for no pay, my back pain is from sitting on the ground doing they're jobs. Its child.labor and I think ot shouldn't be allowed, especially when theres no pay involved.

What do you all think?

Obviously not. Where I'm from if you're young and you go work for the day with your father, you get a cut of the pay. Obviously not half, probably not even a quarter.. but something to satisfy you. I say no just because I've never experienced not getting anything, if I put work into something and helped out I was rewarded. I'm a lot older now though and work myself, and I would give my own child something in return.

I get nothing ever. I would be fine with even 10$ for 5hours of work, but j get nothing. I'm 14, pretty much 15, when I turn fifteen I plan on getting my own job and working with friends. I would pay my child.to.work.with me, though I have no child.

I don't have a child yet either, just in theory. Really though you can make some money with a paper route at your age.
Just get a small route. Easy to do and a bit of money is better than none!

I say yes, depending how intense the work is.
I currently work for my parents business with no pay, but why?
My parents have given me a home, food and clothing - so it seems reasonable to pay back the favour, to me anyway.

They created you, you're their responsibility until you're old enough to go out on your own. Then you can return the favor. Just my opinion anyway.
