Do you think movie theater prices are way overpriced now? Does that stop you from going to the movies or no?
I go to the theaters, but not a lot. I usually only go when I'm on a date or something. The small popcorn costs around $5, the large drink costs around 6 or 7 dollars, and the movie tickets cost $20 (for two people.)
I think it's way too much just for an hour long movie when you can just rent the movie for $2 in a RedBox a month or so later. xD

Same here. I only watch selective movies at theaters. Even in India its almost the same rate as your country.
That, I don't get enough time to watch many of them because of my job. I see them later when DVDs come out.

I'm much more selective of movies now. Sometimes I decide movies are a "dollar movie" Or a "redbox" movie instead. However the movies I really want to see - the price doesn't stop me.
I do think it is expensive though! D: They make their money off of their food and stuff too.

They are somehow on the high side but one thing we should understand is that these are not places we go all the time. Spending such money on popcorn, ticket and others once in a while maybe understandable.

20$ for two people, you mean 10$ for each !!!! That's too much in compare to here. In compare to here it is almost 3 to 4 times higher price for movie tickets.
Yes even I say movie tickets rate are higher in compare to past. But in compare to you , here price is less.

Not where I live. Movies currently cost 2.50 USD dollars to watch in theaters. I've heard that in the U.S, they've gone up to 15 dollars. That's too much. I'd never go if that's the case.

Movie tickets are around $9 for normal seats and $20 each for Gold Lounge, where you're served food etc.
