I have been thinking a lot about evolution lately and how it works. It is extremely fascinating to me how it works. I have done some research and found that the main objective of an organism is to reproduce. If organisms didn't reproduce then they would die off.

So with that in mind, let's think about homosexuals. It is impossible for two men/two women to have children unless they adopt or, if they are women, have sperm given to one of the partners. Therefore, it is impossible for homosexuals to reproduce naturally. This would mean that in the grand scheme of the human species, that their life is meaningless because they do not produce any offspring to carry on the human race.

However, as newer and more advanced technology comes out, I think it may become possible to change this so that maybe one of the partners could have working parts of the opposite sex surgically added so that having kids would become possible.

Please discuss this below.
Note that I am not homophobic nor do I have anything against homosexuals, this is from a biological standpoint and for debating purposes.

Yes, you are completely right. Only if babies could be made by sperm in the anus, or maybe magically rubbing dicks together, but unfortunately that's not the case.

It's funny, I am gay and I completely agree. Everything here is fact. But you know, I wasn't born this way or woke up one day and said, I am gay. The first I had done anything homosexual was I was at my friends house, we where best friends for 8 years. We where at his house, and we where watching a movie, but went to high five, and our hands locked up and we stopped and looked at each other, and he leaned in and kissed me. He was never gay or homosexual or thought about it and same for me. We just had that bond and connection that just happened and we dated secretly for a year and he died in a car wreck and that's when I came out to my school and friends. But hey that's life.

That is horrible man, I'm glad you're holding up well.
Also I never said that homosexuality was a choice either.

I don't fully agree with this. If reproduction was still necessary in this age, homosexuals are still capable of reproducing. They have the capability, but what they lack is the desire. Is someone who is straight, but never wants to have children also worthless biologically? They both lack the desire. What you need is someone who lacks the capability. Those would be those born sterile or some other inability to reproduce naturally. But regardless, we don't have to worry about carrying on the human race as individuals anymore, :).

It's not the desire, a lot of homosexual couples desire kids.
It's the fact that they biologically are unable to produce kids.

This guy has a point about not needing to worry about carrying on the human race as individuals. Because honestly, there's thousands of people doing it on a daily basis, may it be purposely to raise a family, or on accident after the night of a school prom.

Humans are being so overproduced, they are showing up on accident. Think about that. Heh.

This is quite the thread, delila wow that took guts to pay on this thread just what happened to you. You are really strong strong for that, you could have completely avoided that but you came at it had on, your recently deceased boyfriend only a year ago. You admitted willingly your pain and experience, I would hug you if I could. For the OP, this is a very valid point and it is in fact already possible for men to bare children, it had already been done. They are given the proper tools to do so than the baby is removed via c-section then the parts are removed.
