ESL has declared that its biggest yearly live occasion in the UK will come back to Birmingham Arena for a third continuous year. Advanced as "ESL One Birmingham powered by Intel," the Dota 2 competition will grant a $300K USD prize pool between eight invitees and four regional qualifiers from Europe and CIS, North America, China, and Southeast Asia, with the main competition occurring May 29-31.

A year ago's ESL One Birmingham broke the organization's viewership record for its Dota 2 occasions up to this point. Notwithstanding the primary competition, the occasion will incorporate the amazing finale for the first-ever ESL Academy season, displayed by DHL. This grassroots challenge for new Dota 2 ability started in October, will hold an official draft at the ESL One Los Angeles Major in March, and will come full circle in a main stage finale.
