What do you need a printer for?

With all the new technology of just using our phones to show coupons, groupons, or even our insurance cards at the doctor's office, do we even need to use our printers anymore?
I used to use my printer a lot but now I find that I use it maybe once every 3 months and sometimes I worry that my ink is going to dry up! We print out a copy of our taxes but we don't even need to do that because we have copies in our software as well as our email.

To be honest the only time you'll catch me using a printer now-a-days is when I'm at work and I need to obviously print something off. I tend to use the work printer for all my personal stuff as well (because who doesn't really) so you'll often see me popping up to the printer to print off my flight reservations and all that haha. Just too expensive to 'run' the printer at home if I really needed one. One or two bits at work really won't make a difference. :)
