Who mainly only follows the NASDAQ trading index?
I personally do, because all of my investments are into it.

By stupid I mean put everything init.. Aka your savings, your checking, etc.

Just put small amounts in at one time, and only use the profit from that out-come to put back into it so you don't loose any money.

Most people don't lose a lot, but most don't gain a lot either. You can only lose as much money as you put in, some people put a ton of their money into a single stock which is why if that single stock crashes you lose your money. it is best to follow all stock exchanges.
