Politics Is Dirty

Politics is anywhere. It is a process of governing the people, managing the economy, the world relationship among others. I title this post with "Politics is dirty" for we're having the national and local elections in our country by Monday. The candidates were so desperate that they resorted to black propaganda, character assassination, manipulation of the media, and other dirty machinery to get the sympathy of the voters.

Since every country, every nation has her own government, has her own politics. Would you agree that politics is dirty? Please give your side for or against. Thank you.

Well, politics is dirty because the people involved in it is dirty. The problem is that even if you are a good person, the moment you get involved, if you don't get your hands dirty you will get screwed by the rest of the people who are willing to do whatever it takes to win, even if your intentions are good.

Politics is a dirty game and perhaps will always will be. For power lots of lives have been sacrificed in the past and lots of money is wasted too. Despite voting with lots of hopes many politician do not represent the voice of their citizens.

I totally agree with your thoughts. Politics is a dirty business nowadays and the only motive behind this is money and power. You can see a huge rush for power in politics. In fact politics should be taken as an opportunity to serve people by uplifting the neediest in the society. But it is a naked truth that politics is the best opportunity to earn money and power. That is why you can always find a long queue for seats in politics.

In fact politicians can construct or destruct a nation, socially and economically. But the worst thing is that almost all political parties are power thirsty and full of criminals.

I think politics is dirty because the candidates are dirty themselves. Just like in the Philippines, I have seen all kinds of dirty tactics employed by the candidates (mostly by their cohorts). One senator was called a stray dog with his accusations against a presidential candidate. Ironically, that presidential candidate is now leading the election count by mile ahead of the second placing in the counting. But from the looks of the counting, there is no way that candidate will lose because he is leading by almost 6 million votes against the 8 million votes of the second placer.

Politics is dirty if one makes it dirty. It is for world order and I don't mean the conspiracy. If there were no governed politics, the world would be in bigger disaster than it is now.

In my opinion politics on its own is not dirty. Politicians make politics looks a dirty game when they become too desperate to cling ton positions. They are the dirty characters that turned a supposedly clear system muddy. Why won't they play the game neat, let the better candidate win and eschew negative vices like character assassination, lies or manipulations

I am very sure is a political dirty, especially when I think that the one who leads the country not its duty as we expected before we do we vote is ugly to see that everything is going very bad and nothing is as we want .
