Multiple partners

When HIV/AIDS was rampant and always in news there were these banners saying say no to multiple partners and be faithful to a single partner only. Of course we know the importance of those messages. Now that the situation looks much better controlled and everyone is playing safe, do you think having multiple partners is okay? Do you have/had multiple partnersm
