Howdy!

I was reading a Thread and noticed that most of the Forum Sections have been removed due to the low amount of Members that this site currently has. I understand that there isn't much point in having tabs for other Sections whilst this site only has a couple of hundred active Members however, having more Forum Sections will actually bring in a lot more traffic and Members to the site. As a new site, you want to be providing a HUGE variety of Sections throughout the site as well as quality as this is what visitors will look for when they visit.

A good first impression is what results in such an impact on the final product as you could say. This is a crucial step to bringing this site to life and providing a future for the community here. This may not happen over night and the chances are very slim however, somebody is more likely to be interested in registering to a site that has a lot more Sections to offer and potential to creating a successful, supportive community for all that visit, than a site that's slowly moving a long and providing more as they gain much higher figures in Members. I respect everything that I've already seen across the site, I'm just saying that there could be a lot more done to help better everyone here.

This is just my own personal feedback and suggestions. I'm sorry if this Thread is taken the wrong way, I do not wish to upset anybody.

In theory, I can see why you'd suggest such changes. Reality is, it tends not to work as such. A more variety of forum sections doesn't mean it'll appear more to guests browsing unfortunately. From my own personal experience and what I've seen, forums tend to form more sections gradually and as per request. As long as the main forums cover everything, then it shouldn't be a problem. As discussions grow per subject, a section will be made for the respective discussion.

Still interested in seeing what everyone thinks though.

Main reason I removed the sections and merged alot of them together was because of the fact that I didn't want sections like the e.g The Lounge to have 7000 Posts & other sections like Technology or Gaming to have 300 posts.

This is understandable however, you can put limits on Sections if you really want to. :P
