I guess I've just avoided it completely.
I don't go to sites I haven't researched first.

I've not exactly explored it to its fullest capabilities but I've dipped my toe in the water, and trust me it was... dirty. I did quite enjoy the fact that there's a whole other side to the internet most people have no intention of going on (some don't even know about it).

I recommend at least checking it out.
