Do you believe in the current system of different religions?

Do you often dream of a world with only one religion and one God?  I think that would be a real paradise when the whole humans are working towards a single objective in mind and that is betterment of life.  We would strive to make this a better place to live. There may not be any religious clashes, bloody murders and other atrocities.

In the current setup people live in water tight compartments safeguarding their beliefs.  Now religion is a very sensitive area and even a minor disturbance can go like a wild fire.

Do you support the current system or do we need a change?

I personally don't believe in religion since it causes too much conflict around the world. I do strongly believe in God though. I believe that if you believe in God and look for him everyday its more than enough. If religions were true then there shouldn't be any conflict everything should be pure and peaceful. What is the use of having or believing in a religion if your going to have problems with others, that is not the case. Religion should be about unity a praising the one who gave us life. We should just do everything that is right and I think that God will be more than happy with that.

I dream of a world without supernatural beliefs that oppress the freedoms of people. Sadly that will never happen, since people have different views and some decide to take up on religion to justify pushing their hatred towards others.

And if there was only one religion then no bad things would happen? I would like to disagree and point towards practically any Islamic country, and make you note that merely having a different sexual orientation in there is enough to get you killed. Not a different religion, not leaving a religion - just having a different sexual preference.
