Offline or online job?

I was introduced to online jobs quite recently.  But I never take it as my main source of income, it’s just like a pocket money for me.  With my limited experience what I learned is that you cannot make good money only through online jobs.  You have to put more efforts than offline jobs.  But things may be different if you are really skilled like a medical trancriptionist or a software engineer. I read that they can make good money over net.

Moreover, in online earning there is no security and it is highly unstable.  You will not get any statutory benefits as in a regular offline job. There is no proper tracking mechanism in online jobs which makes  it more prone to become scams.

What are your views on both these aspects?

You are absolutely right about the differences between online and offline jobs. However, there is an online job that you get to do after working for some years for an offline company that has all the benefits of offline jobs and online jobs.

I totally agree on this. I had also been trying to earn from online jobs. I was not able to find anything. You need to have some special skills to earn online. Now for almost 1 1/2 years I am working full time in an office, and I am now satisfied with my earnings.

I prefer offline jobs because I feel like it's easy to get an offline job and a well paying one however it's not easy getting a high paying online job which you can depend on as the main income.

I do Both, I work 9 hours a day as a Technical Consultant & also run a E-Commerce store online.

I agree. I'm actually a translator for certain games and documents on and offline.
