HackForums ban... Really?

Hello Perkies,

Look at this crap! I got banned on HackForums for "Multi" ?? I don't even have multiple accounts.. Only other Hackforums account I have near me is my GF's..

This is what pisses me off about them.. I did nothing wrong, yet get punished..

At least you didn't get banned for posting an eBook in the eBook bazaar section.
It was a 1 month ban for that.

I just find the way that they handle their punishments absolutely absurd! It is truly unfair and unjust..

I already am planning on Deleting my HF account. But, I would like to keep it so I can post my shops up on there. :P

If this forums grows really big, I will probably delete that account..

Did your gf login from the same location as you?
If mods get any reason to do some ip checks and they find out there is multiple accounts made on the same ip they usually over react.

I find it ridiculous that hf is run with such a tiny staff. If the size of staff would increase i believe bans could be handed out much fairer.

Still i do love HF.

Could have been another IP log in. It would make sense.

You could have gotten Multi account banned for having two accounts made under the same IP. I would have made another under a different IP. If you can show proof that it's not yours and you only have one account then they will lift the suspension.

She made her HF account under a different IP. Though, she does come over to my house and log in to her HF.. :/

I've been in a similar situation before. I had like 3 males in my house and we all used HackForums. Oh, the conflict.
Either way it's good it's only for a few weeks. Be thankful you weren't permabanned!
