As the title says!! What book are you reading??

For me:  Lois Lane: Fallout.

It's a novel rather than a comic book which is... a thing, but at least three reviews compare it favorably to Veronica Mars, which is something good.

At the moment I'm reading The Axeman's Jazz by Ray Celestin. As the title can hint, it's about the axe-murderer of New Orleans. I haven't read more than just twenty-or-so pages but it's actually really good! It even has parts of the real letters that the axeman send to the press, which builds up the feeling of it being all real. Thought it is based on true events, it is still a work of fiction which gives the story a nice little twist.

I am a reader. I am also a book collector. I have good numbers of print books as well as ebooks. Currently I am reading Amazing Alphabets and People's War in Nepal: Songs and Narratives from the Frontline. Both of these books were written by me. I am reading these books because I am trying to publish revised editions.

Right now I am not reading a book. I am actually writing one. If I read a book when I am working on one I am worried I will unintentionally plagiarize. So I have not read anything for over a year now. The last book I was reading was one of the Mortal Instruments books. I think it was A Clockwork Prince but I can't remember.

At the moment I am reading Agatha Christie's Partners in Crime. I have read almost all of her books and yet, can't get enough of it. This one is amazing and fabulous as all her other books are. It is about a crazy household where the owner is practically running a rehabilitation center for juvenile delinquents. Initially a sincere and genuine do-gooder, starts thinking himself to be a god and ends up committing murders. A must-read for all Agatha Christie fans.

Um, let me see...  I read the classic literature which among them are by Shakespeare and Plutarch and poets; historical fiction by G.A. Henty, Chaim Potok; law and crime by John Grisham and Andrew Klavan. I have a few modern day authors, as well.

I read my books, all bookmarked, on days I'm not writing and teaching.  But I read the classics (History, Science, Geography and Literature) everyday with my children.

Right now I am not reading any specific book, but the last book i read recently was 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coehlo. A beautiful fiction with fantasy and philosophy.

Alchemist - Paulo Coelho. And not for the first time :) This is the book I can read over and over again and I would rather (unfortunately) sit down and read that one again instead of look for something new. So, if someone didn't read it, I strongly recommend.
