It has been said that education is one of the basic foundations of life that everyone should and must have acquired. An educated person generally may not have a bright future ahead. He may be dwindling his progress in all aspect of his life. He may be left behind from his peer group which is composed of diligent, self-propelled persons towards achieving their success in life.

Those people seem to be frustrated and of course, they are the possible liabilities of the government. So they should be given attention on how to make them moving, and productive and in the long run would have a productive employment for the education they have had.

Our government is not deaf in this kind of situation. The Department of Education has introduced this so-called Alternative Learning System (ALS) for those out of school youth, for those who have quit or stopped schooling. There are instructional managers employed to handle them. These prospective learners have to have the personalized instructions and modular teaching, followed up by their assigned IMs.

The world-renowned boxing icon, Manny Pacquiao is a graduate of this educational system, ALS.

I guess you are right but besides education I mean degrees we need skilled workers too. In my views skilled workers are better asset for the progress of any country especially a country like ours where the number of university degree holders is almost 500 million but some of them are earning less than skilled workers.

I agree with Ray. Education is definitely important but sometimes skills and experience counts more than degrees. Nevertheless, it's always good to have them in a combination.

I love no one left behind. I mean it's a nice program and very nice to do for people who have bad grades in class!
