This is really very extreme. Just for cheating, you already get jailed? I mean, they should have warnings in order for students not to repeat it again but imprisonment? It's just not right.

I was thinking about it earlier. Some equations are just too hard to remember.

I mean this is probably down to the fact that China have some pretty top notch jobs out there.
I guess they don't want students like this stealing hard working and dedicated jobs. I do have to say though, this is definitely some intense sh*t!

That seems way too harsh, in my country you only get disqualified from it and if you have the exam answers with you they may take you to the police station but only to investigate and learn how you got them, then they will release you. I guess that if you consider that the person cheating is robbing a sport from someone who deserves it then they do hate to get some kind of punishment, it could also work as a way to dissuade people from trying this kind of stuff

That's a little too extreme. I mean, if you want to pass a test knowing nothing about it then the future loss of knowledge will be the punishment. Most schools would just flunk you but jail time is too extreme.

7 years behind the bars!? Isn't it too much?!
Here student has to compromise for 1 year study if he or she caught for cheating in the exam. I guess this is enough to make them understand seriousness behind it.

Years ago when I was caught cheating by my teacher, getting suspended made me think that my life is over. Now I realized how lucky I was compared to those students. I will definitely chose 2 months suspension and humiliation over jail time.

I think this was because they were tutors stealing the answers and using them to get their students A+'s
