I wish to have a small neat garden around my house someday but so far this hasn't been possible. I wish I could plant some vegetables and fruits that can be used on daily basis like tomatoes, chillies and coriander.

When I married and stayed in an apartment, I bought some clay pots so I could have a garden of sorts. My pots have ginger and garlic plus some onions and red pepper. The owner of the apartment was amused because of our mini garden.
Now that we have a house of our own, the small backyard of about 40 square meters is my garden aside from some vacant ground around the house that we built planter boxes on. But my garden is mostly vegetables and fruits although we also have some flowers, just a few for my wife.

Even I would love to have one garden at my place. But unfortunately there is no space for it. In near future may be I can move from here, so I can expect to have more space at new place. But right now I don't have any. But I have some plants in my balcony which looks good too.

I don't have any garden in my environment, I once had years back but since I relocated I haven't really thought how I can go about having a garden. I am going to work towards this and start growing vegetables and fruits within my immediate environment as quickly as I can. I really love the fresh fruits and vegetables one can easily get from nearby garden.

Gardening is my passion and I focus on fruit plants. I do container gardening on my terrace and got a wide variety of fruit plants on large containers. It is really a challenge to fit them in containers which needs close monitoring. But it seems going fine and my mango trees start giving fruits. Though less in quantity it is a pleasure for eyes seeing them at your terrace. Usually I spend half to one hour every morning or evening with my plants. It keeps me rejuvenated and healthy. I also installed a drip irrigation system to water them as daily watering is very important in container gardening.
I am not so keen for ornamental plants and I also planted a lot of fruit plants around my house. It is somewhat like a forest now so I need to prune them to keep them compact and healthy.

Luckily I live in an area which is on the outskirts of a metro and has enough space on my disposal. I am no more having time for gardening due to my activities but my wife has taken over where I left. We have different fruit plants in my garden besides having flowers and vegetables.

Just spreading the knowldege while on the topic, there are latest hybrid plants of coconut and banana trees that can be grown indoors. They grow upto few feet only and start producing fruits.
For those who soak beans, grains, rice and the like for daily cooking, now you can use the overnight nitrient-rich water to water your plants instead of throwing it down the drain!

I don't have a garden but my mom has a small garden where she grows vegetables like tomatoes, onions and cassava. I think having a garden is one way of saving money because in the time of harvest, we spend little on the grocery store.

No, I do not have a garden. This is true for most of the citizens in Singapore. Only the very wealthy are able to own a garden because land prices here is pretty high.

I don't but I wish I did. I would like to have a space where I can plant flowers and trees that produce fruits to eat them fresh. How beautiful it is to have a well organized garden with all the beautiful colors. Would be nice to take a walk in a garden and appreciate its beautiful sight.
