What are your thoughts in the age old war against ATI/AMD vs. NVIDIA.
I've always been an NVIDIA person, as I generally play games using their technologies.
They also generally have powerful cards.

Well Ive had abit of both, Started off with AMD, possibly one of the worst experiences Ive had which is weird because I have an AMD CPU.
I highly prefer Nvidia now though, same reasons as you.

Nvidia. They have never let me down but when i bought an r9 i had to return it due to a BSOD every time i installed drivers. Picked up a 760 and wham worked right out of the box.

AMD is better for graphics and rendering. Nvidia are better for gaming. As I am more of a gamer, I use Nvidia, but editing is fine with an Nvidia card too.

Personally, I've used a lot of AMD cards for gaming builds and there's quite a few games that are AMD optimized but I personally like the ease I get with a Nvidia card for it's a lot sleeker and I would personally say last longer in the update tech market.

I've owned both in my quest for an amazing PC and I've come to the conclusion that for graphics cars NVIDIA wins. The new top of the line cards from both are amazing, but the NVIDIA driver seems to be slightly faster than the AMD.
