Ever met anyone you knew online?

Has anyone here ever actually met anybody from their time on the internet? For me, I've met a couple people - some who are now very good friends that I have actually met! Some of them I used to chat with on forums and some that I used to play games with on XBL. I have one very good friend who lived in America when I met them on a forum (now in Scotland) that I've met up with when she popped down for a party unbeknownst to me and it wasn't even awkward, it was just like seeing an old friend and really managed to solidify what was already a fantastic friendship in my eyes. The internet does bring people together sometimes. I even met my fiancée online as well!

What about you? Ever met up with any online friends? How did it go if so?

I plan on meeting a few streamer friends when I can attend Pax East. I'm also fixing to go visit my girlfriend in England when I can afford to do so. :) It's important to be safe about meeting people online, and always meet in a public place. :)

Yes, I actually met a person who I knew for a years from online
