Celebrating Wedding anniversaries

How do you celebrate your wedding anniversary?

This May we will be celebrating our 5th Wedding Anniversary. We usually celebrate our anniversaries with our family and relatives, but this year since it is the 5th, we are planning to have a big celebration. Here there is a trend to celebrate your 5th, 10th, 15th and so on anniversaries on a grand scale.

This is my 5th year of marriage, I'm very happy with her so I think I will take her out for dinner, probably in a Venice restaurant with a nice view, quiet with flowers everywhere. I will order a bottle of the finest red wine and tell her how much she's important for me, later we'll take a stroll along the canals and end up in some romantic hotel, treasuring every moment. Then we'll wake up late, have a big breakfast and go looking for street markets and souvenirs.

On February 26 I will be celebrating my second wedding anniversary. I have not made any plans for my wedding anniversary because at this moment, I am more focused in 14th February, which is Valentine's Day. MY first wedding anniversary went without any fanfare.
