Bad Parents or just plain stupid?

:@ So I watching the news when I saw the report about the couple below:


Just look at their DUI photo, They look pretty wasted and unaware of what is going on. This couple were too drunk so they felt like they were unable to drive home. Their solution? They gave their car key's to their 9 year old daughter and ask her to drive them home. To make things worst, they also have their 11 month old baby is also inside the car.  Look at the Mother, she seemed to be too proud  of her accomplishment as a parent.

I think they are just bad parents. When you are going out and you know that you would drink, why take your small kids along with you? Can't you have a babysitter or anyone else from your family take care of your children? And giving a 9 year old the car keys, is just plain stupid. They don't deserve to have the kids. Children are God's gift to you. You need to take proper care of them, nurture them. If you can'd do those things, then you don't deserve them.

I think they are just bad parents. When you are going out and you know that you would drink, why take your small kids along with you? Children are God's gift to you. You need to take proper care of them, nurture them. If you can't do those things, then you don't deserve them.

I feel people are not hesitant trying out weird ideas even if they will cost them money or even their life for the kick out of it. Just imagine what could have happened if the little girl had lost control! But you will hear many more such stories as there are plenty of people that have no civic sense or sense of good parenting.

Oh my God! They are really really bad parents and probably insane too. To drink so much as to get wasted when accompanied by such young kids is too risky and almost criminal behavior, in my opinion. I just shudder to imagine what would have happened to the baby and the little girl, imagine how scared the young girl must. It could even scar her for life!

I think it's bad parenting, taking the kids along to the bar in the first place was a mistake. Then giving the responsibility to a nine year old child is just outrageous, if something went wrong, she would have had to carry the burden. I also wonder, were the kids just left in the car while the parents were getting drunk?

That is just insane! Who would tell their child to drive A CAR! Who cares if they were drunk. They could've called a taxi or something. And and 11 months old baby in the car. That's just sad. The children should go to foster homes until they're parents realize how STUPID they are. I feel so sorry for these children..

Crazy people. Why on Earth would they tell their children to drive a car!?

Bad parenting or just plain stupid? How about both, in equal measures...

When you come across stories like this it does make you wonder what actually goes through people minds, and even if they were drunk, if they had the sense to realise they couldn't drive home, then surely they'd also have the sense to realise that neither could their 9 year old child!

I could relate to this kind of parents. I have read a news from the Internet of drug addict parents. They had left their mixture of drugs place in baby's drinking glass on the table.

Beyond their notice, their 2-year old daughter grabbed her drinking glass and engulfed the content. The baby died instantly. So what the parents can do is to be sorry? Sorry for their stupidity? Sorry for their irresponsibility?

This is purely bad and irresponsible parenting, why would a parent want to put their children at risk, its pure evil.

What a bunch of idiots, people like this don't deserve to have kids! there are people out their that would be great parents but can't have kids and then you get idiots like this who just simply don't deserve to have kids.
