Back in the 90's when there is no Social networks yet, You won't find any news or updates about your ex. Then somewhere in the late 2000's Social Networks existed. Friendster and Myspace started it but Facebook revolutionized it. I have some friends so secretly visits the Instagram,Facebook and Twitter accounts of their exes just to know how are they doing.
If your ex gave you a friend request, would you accept it?

I think there's nothing wrong about stalking or checking your ex whether how are they doing in life right now on social media. It's bad if you're stalking them and planning to somewhat ruin something. Well as for me, sometimes I stalk my ex on her Facebook and would just smile to see she's doing great and fine with the life she has right now.

I don't stalk on my ex on social media because I am not connected with my ex on any of the social media. Stalk means following someone annoyingly. However, I don't think it is wrong to check your ex's profile once in a while if you still feel for her/him.

Hahaha, that is a desperate situation. Those who have done that know. I used to check my ex's Fb, maybe, for one year since I was not totally out the breakup. But, after one year I was cool and realized that there is no life in clinging to your past. After that, I haven't checked

hahah. This topic maked me laugh because although it is something I consider sad doing, I know it happens very often. I know people who do it, frequentually really, but I never did it.
I don't know, I guess I am a person who likes to end things clear and just move on! Stalking your ex isn't really a thing I see myself doing

Haha :D If relationship ended in good way, I think there is nothing wrong to look at your ex profile once in a while. Even to stay in touch. But if she or he hurt you really bad, there is no need to give them not even a second more of your life!

I had an ex who was stalking me in the cellphone. It was the time when there was no social media yet and the phone was not a smart phone yet. I just wonder when I changed the sim card (for a new phone number) my ex would still be chasing me although she never identified herself but I’m sure it was her. It only stopped when I screened people who I give my number to. In other words, one in my friends list have been forwarding my number to my ex. That did it. Although until now I still don’t know who that friend is.

I also know quite a lot of people that stalk their ex's on social media aswell, but to be honest it's not something that I do personally. Your ex is in your past, and so isn't it better to look forward and carry on rather than dwelling on things that you can't change anyway, even if you wanted to or not?

Maybe i would accept if we could do funny things. Maybe some snapchat lol
But i don't believe that i would have a relationship again with any of my exes. And i dont stalk them, i dont feel necessity of doing that.
