I am looking to use free hosting for my blog, but I want to find the best free hosting available before I do it. I do not want to make the decision and regret it because it would be a hassle to shift my sites around different hosting. I would like to hear any recommendations from people who have tried free hosting previously. So, please reply here only if you have real experience with a free host, thanks!

Since they stored 13 million passwords in plaintext I can only assume they have a bunch of apes running their systems. Better stay away from them. One time I let them know that their database server crashed, and they told me that they don't resolve php issues lol

I will always suggest you to go for paid hosting as you get what pay for.
Anyway, if the traffic is low I would suggest using Hostinger. I used it for quite a while and didn't get any issue.

I also offer unlimited storage/bandwith on a cPanel server for as low as $3 per month.
