Atheist, Religious or Spiritualist

Are you a believer or an atheist? Do you believe in God and religion and follow specific path (Christianity, Islam etc.) or are an spiritualist having strong faith in the Almighty who is neither Christian nor Muslim or Buddhist.

I am religious. I follow Christianity. My parents are very religious and from childhood, we have been taught how to pray and how to follow Christianity. Even I want my children to be good Christians. To be close to God and be religious.

I am both religious and spiritual. I am religious in the sense that I belong to a family which follows a specific religion. I do not believe in any personal God. I am spiritual in the sense that I believe in the Absolute Reality, which is beyond time, space and causation.

I believe there is a God, even if I'm a little confused about Religion. I'm interested in the way people from different cultures have different views on the same philosophic question. The need for a superior, metaphisical entity/energy is common in the human race, I think we need to believe in an entity that is perfect and doesn't make mistakes.

I am not religious but I am a believer in our creator. I believe we all have a spirit that will be freed when we pass away. I believe that nobody really knows what God's true nature is.

I am somewhat in the midway between the life of an atheist and a believer. I believe in God, a super force that created this universe. I don’t believe that earth was the creation of something like a volcano eruption or earthquake. It is engineered to be perfect and it cannot happen automatically. Some very intelligent mind is behind creation of this universe and other living beings and we call him God. It is us who gave different colors to God like Christian, Hindu, Muslim etc.

I believe there is only one force there and there is no need for different gods in different outfits. Just think of a world where all humans are united under one God and religion. I always dream of such a perfect world instead of living in water right compartments.

I am not that religious person, but I believe in God who created everything and everyone. That's the reason why I'm a spiritualist, I like talking to myself and to God most of the times.

Eh, what? Nobody is claiming that this is what has happened anyway. So I guess you got that right at least.

But I am an atheist, and have been practically all my life. There just hasn't been any religion that would've presented me with any reason to consider their standpoint to be correct. Quite the opposite, they just have too many even internal conflicts about the very same faith to make me lead to believe anything else but that a religion is a tool created to control people and gain power.
