Girl child vs boy child

What would you rather have, a boy or a girl child? Do you think there is much difference between the two? Would you treat them differently?

To be honest I don't think there is any difference between a girl or a boy child, I see children as a blessing regardless of the gender. I would treat and love my children equally.

I wouldn't really mind, although I do not plan on having kids myself.

I don't mind either are a blessing as long as they're healthy. There's no way I would have different treatment towards them.

To be clear, I wouldn't mind either way, and I'm not thinking of having one anytime soon, if ever. I would treat them the same, I would probably be more protective with a girl but I think that is normal, considering how many sick persons are detected every single day around the world.

I believe kids are gifts of god and we can see god in their innocent faces. They are so innocent that they can also see and communicate with god. In addition to their physical difference I don’t think there are any other differences between a male and female child. It is a welcome sign that the distance between girls and boys are getting reduced. Now we can see women in the most authoritative positions in many renowned companies and Government organizations.

I think the most important thing for parents is to help them excel in the field they are passionate about. Everything else will be taken care of. In my personal view we need to focus more on enabling our female child to become self sustainable as world is not a good place always.

In most of the Asian and African countries there is a segregation between a girl child and boy child. In most cases boy child are given more preference compared to girl child. This preference is based on cultural trend. Unless this trend is broken, we cannot establish egalitarian society.

I do not see the difference between the two gender. Both are equally fine. I know that some traditions favour boys over girls because they are the ones who will pass on the generation for that family.

For me the matter has gone beyond thinking on these topics. I have just one child a girl and I am proud to be father of such a nice girl. If you ask me the boys are more of a burden in my country rather than of any help in most cases. No, I have no regrets for not having a boy as that was my decision to stop after one child.

I'd love them both equally but I'd prefer a female due to being around men all the time. I'd like a nice father daughter time. I would like to teach her the rights and wrongs of life and teach her to be the strongest women ever. Not just physically.
